Job recovery is used to recover the last execution, in case multiple objects are running in a single job, if any of the object is failed during execution then next run job will execute from failure and skip all executed objects.
Enable recovery option should be checked at first execution.
During the execution if any of your dataflow failed then in next execution Enable recover will be greyed with enabled and Recover from last failed execution will be enabled automatically.
You will notice others successfully executed DFs will be skipped in this run and only the failed and not executed DFs will be executed.
In case you have Specified the workflow as a recovery unit then in the recovery mode your all of the DFs will be executed created under that WF, including successfully executed DFs. To specify workflow as a recovery unit, go to property of the WF and select Recover as unit.
The green arrow symbol indicates that the WF is a recovery unit.
